2. Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data in the following ways:
a) Information you provide directly
- Contact and enquiry form (Contact Us page): full name, email address, phone number (optional), product preference, selected service, preferred appointment time, and any comments or details you choose to share.
- Appointment / fitting bookings, including for VIP Home & Office fittings: name, contact details, home or office address, and preferred timing.

- WhatsApp / phone communications: if you contact us via the WhatsApp link or by phone, we receive your phone number and the content of your messages or calls.
- Measurements and styling preferences: fabric, fit, design, and body measurement details you share with our tailors during consultations, fittings, or via any measurement forms, in person or online.
- Billing and payment details: billing information, such as your name and contact details, and payment details where applicable, when you engage our tailoring or alteration services. Invoicing and payment are handled through offline or other channels — such as in person, bank transfer, or WhatsApp — rather than through the Site. We do not process or store payments through the Site itself.
- Correspondence: any information you provide when you email us, message us on social media, or otherwise communicate with us.
b) Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we (and service providers acting on our behalf) may automatically collect:
- IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system
- Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring/exit URLs, and click behaviour
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Cookie and similar tracking technology data (see Section 7)

- Take accurate measurements and produce garments to your specifications
- Issue invoices and process payments for services rendered, through channels outside the Site.
- Send appointment reminders and service-related communications
- Send our newsletter and marketing updates, where you have subscribed or otherwise consented
- Improve the Site, our Services, and customer experience
- Maintain the security of our Site and prevent fraud
- Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations in the UAE
- Respond to your requests, feedback, or complaints
We do not use your data for any purpose incompatible with the above without notifying you.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “UAE PDPL”), personal data may generally be processed with the consent of the data subject, except where processing without consent is permitted under Article 4. Where we rely on your consent — for example, for our newsletter or marketing communications — that consent will be specific, clear, and easy to withdraw at any time, in line with the requirements for valid consent set out in Article 6, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Article 4 lists a number of cases in which processing without consent is permitted. The ones most relevant to our Services are:
- Article 4(9) — Performance of a contract: processing necessary to perform a contract to which you are a party, or to take measures at your request to conclude, amend, or terminate a contract — for example, arranging a consultation or fitting, or providing the tailoring or alteration services you have requested.
- Article 4(7) — Protecting your interests: where processing is necessary to protect your own interests.
- Article 4(10) — Compliance with other UAE laws: where processing is necessary to fulfil specific obligations stipulated in other laws in force in the State, e.g., tax, accounting, or commercial regulations.
- Article 4(3) — Legal claims: where processing is necessary for legal claims, the defence of rights, or judicial or security procedures.
Where none of the circumstances permitting processing without consent apply, we will seek your consent as required by applicable law.
5. Sharing Your Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Service providers and vendors who support our operations, such as website hosting, IT support, and appointment scheduling tools
- Communication platforms, such as WhatsApp (Meta) and email providers, if you choose to contact us through those channels
- Analytics and marketing providers, such as Google Analytics or similar tools, to help us understand Site usage (see Section 7)
- Professional advisors and authorities, where required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our clients
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to equivalent protections for your data
All third parties we work with are expected to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
6. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers (for example, cloud hosting, email, or analytics providers) may process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred outside the United Arab Emirates, we will ensure that the transfer is carried out in accordance with the applicable cross-border data-transfer requirements of the UAE PDPL and any applicable Executive Regulations.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- Enable core site functionality
- Remember your preferences
- Analyse site traffic and usage patterns
- Support advertising and retargeting
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including to:
- Provide ongoing services (e.g., keeping your measurements on file for future appointments, with your consent)
- Meet legal, accounting, or tax requirements under UAE law
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
When personal data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
9. Your Rights
Under the UAE PDPL, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Right to receive information (Article 13) — to be told what personal data of yours we process, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and how to exercise your rights or lodge a complaint
- Right to request transfer of your data (Article 14) — to receive the personal data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format, where processing is based on your consent or on a contract and is carried out by automated means, and to ask us to transfer it to another controller where technically feasible
- Right to correction or erasure (Article 15) — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, and to request erasure of your data where, for example, it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, you withdraw your consent, or it was processed unlawfully
- Right to restrict processing (Article 16) — to require us to pause processing in specific circumstances, such as while we verify the accuracy of your data or assess an objection you have raised
- Right to object to processing (Article 17) — in particular, to object to your data being used for direct marketing at any time
- Rights relating to automated decision-making (Article 18) — to object to decisions based solely on automated processing (including profiling) that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you
- Right to withdraw consent (Article 6) — at any time, where processing is based on your consent (e.g., unsubscribing from our newsletter using the link in any email), without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing
- Right to lodge a complaint (Article 24) — with the UAE Data Office if you believe we have processed your personal data in violation of the PDPL
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@belissimobespoke.ae. We will respond in accordance with the timeframes set out in the PDPL and its Executive Regulations, and we may need to verify your identity before actioning a request. Some requests may be limited in the specific circumstances set out in the PDPL — for example, where a request conflicts with an ongoing legal matter, is excessive or repetitive, or would affect the privacy of another person.
10. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s Privacy
We may provide tailoring, alteration, or fitting services to individuals under 18, provided they are accompanied by, and the service is arranged by, a parent or legal guardian. In these cases, we collect a minor’s personal data (such as measurements and styling preferences) only with the involvement and consent of the accompanying parent or guardian, and only for the purpose of providing the requested service.
We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from a minor independently of a parent or guardian — for example, through the Site’s contact form, newsletter sign-up, or unaccompanied communications. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data without the involvement of a parent or guardian, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Parents and guardians may contact us at info@belissimobespoke.ae to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about their child.
12. Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, WhatsApp). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the Policy was last revised. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
